Welcome to The Detailing Squad! This section provides important disclaimers regarding our services and work scope. We believe in transparency and aim to foster a clear understanding with our valued customers.

Interior Detailing / Cleaning:

  • Personal Items: We kindly ask that you remove all personal belongings from your vehicle prior to your appointment. The Detailing Squad is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items.
  • Glove Box: Please note that we will not clean the interiors of glove boxes, and any contents within them will remain undisturbed.
  • Child Car Seats: If you wish to have the area beneath a child car seat cleaned, please remove the seat before your appointment. Please note that we do not specialize in reinstalling child seats to meet safety specifications.
  • Enclosed Canopies: We typically do not clean the interiors of enclosed canopies on larger trucks, as they are often filled with tools and supplies, making access difficult. If you would like this area cleaned, it can be arranged for an additional fee.

Exterior Detailing / Cleaning:

  • Paint Care: The Detailing Squad does not provide paint repair or touch-up services and cannot be held responsible for any paint issues that may arise during or after cleaning. We are happy to refer you to qualified paint repair and auto body shops if needed.

Interior and Engine Bay Cleaning:

  • Mechanical and Electrical Components: The Detailing Squad is not liable for any malfunction or damage to your vehicle’s mechanical, electrical, or electronic components. We limit our interference with your vehicle to the minimum necessary to perform our services.

General:

  • Check-in Procedure: Upon check-in, we ask customers to identify any components or parts that are already broken or in a condition that may lead to failure. We will take extra care in these areas during the cleaning process. If we discover defective materials or loose-fitting parts while cleaning, we will inform you.
  • Battery Responsibility: The Detailing Squad will not be responsible for replacing weak or dead batteries. While we avoid using electrical devices that may drain a battery, please be aware that leaving doors open during the cleaning process can drain a weak battery. Customers should ensure their battery is in good working condition.
  • Damages: If any damages occur due to our fault, we will address and rectify them at no additional cost to you.
